Ferro Ceramic is pleased to offer its Blanchard grinding services to the industry at large.Since 1966, Ferro-Ceramic Grinding has been Blanchard grinding traditional and advanced ceramics, glass, sapphire, quartz, ferrites and other hard materials using its Blanchard grinding machines. The Blanchard Grinding Division of Ferro-Ceramic Grinding Inc. offers innovative service in the flat grinding of advanced ceramics. In addition to Blanchard grinding Ferro-Ceramic Grinding offers Rotary surface grinding and CNC surface contract grinding.
The Blanchard Grinding Process:
Blanchard Grinding is a vertical mounted spindle rotary surface grinder built of rigid construction, which allows for good accuracy and production repeatability. The Blanchard process can be used for prototype through production grinding and is considered one of the most effective ways of material removal in the varying types of surface grinding processes. Blanchard Grinding is used for flat grinding two surfaces flat and parallel when a mill surface in not precision enough. Parts can be of varying geometries such as flat tiles, rings/cylinders, or odd shapes parts and castings.
